Together we will organize your photos so they are safe, neatly categorized and accessible. Whether
you have a current photo backlog or have inherited priceless heirloom photos, I can help you identify
what to toss and what to keep. This is perfect for people who are downsizing or simplifying their lives.

Digital Basics
I will show you how to manage your digital images – at a pace comfortable for you. Examples: transferring your photos from your memory card to your computer; finding and sorting your images; burning images to CD; digitally enhancing your photos; scanning old photos and memorabilia; creating digital scrapbooks; designing your own holiday cards, birthday cards, invitations and more. This can be done in your home or online. $30/hour
Instruction on Creating Digital Photo Books & Traditional Albums
Would you like to make an album yourself, but need help? I will work with you to create a cherished
photo album, using either digital or traditional products. You’ll learn tips and techniques that will
ensure that your album-making is quick and efficient, and that the results are beautiful. $30/hour
Design & Produce Custom Photo Books
Do you wish your photos were in albums to enjoy, but you just haven’t had time to get it done? Let
me do it for you. Free initial consultation to determine theme and scope. You supply the photos,
memorabilia and/or digital images; I’ll do the rest. In the digital format, you can see and approve the
book-in-progress online. Digital or traditional, all materials are of the highest archival quality.
The materials cost for traditional albums will vary, and many options are available. Digital photo books range from $17-$275, depending on the size, style and number of pages. $25/hour
Custom Album Event Packages
I can customize a package to celebrate a special event that includes
posters, invitations, thank-you notes and more. Packages are
available for weddings; graduations; sports teams; dance and theatre
groups; milestone birthdays and anniversaries. $25/hour
Additional Services:
 Photoshows: Have you ever wanted to showcase a person’s life for a milestone birthday, graduation, wedding or memorial service? I can create a one of kind photoshow, video montage, or custom slideshow complete with personalized music choices! It will be saved to a DVD to be played back on most any DVD player. Basic DVD $65, Enhanced DVD $115, Premium DVD $165
 Photo Scanning: Do you have older images or memorabilia that you would like to digitize? Let me do it for you. I can scan your photos, memorabilia, and 35mm negatives into digital images. 100 photos for $25.00 or $25/hour with editing
 Photography: services are available. I will come to your special event and take photos of your special someone. These include ballgames, birthday parties, reunions, and club events. $20/hour
 Materials: We can use what you have already purchased or I can help you make photo safe choices for your photo needs.

Meeting Monday & other thoughts.........

I have asked Rick (our website guy) to meet with myself and Sandy Ponds, the graphic artist who is going to help us with a logo and other branding materials to come to my house Monday night to talk about improvements to the website and our overall look. I will let you know what we come up with and I am very excited. We need a name that won’t replace PPO but that I can trademark, here are some ideas, what do you like? Photos Matter, Photos Count, Photos- Finished!, Image to Life…


Yesterday I attended the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce Meeting and heard an amazing speaker, the women had created the "take our daughters to work day". She now has a non-profit organization called, "make mine a million" which encourages women to have a vision for a million dollar business. I introduced myself to my table folks and told them I was a Personal Photo Orgnaizer and got immediate feedback and questions. One of the folks there owns a company  here in Connecticut called Companions and Homemakers. They provide companions to the elderly. I told her about what I did and asked if she thought we could team up, offering our PPO folks to their clients. She gave me her card and said let's have coffee.

I am on a learning curve and hope this works easily!  I realized that some of you may not be getting emails since the group is growing and it is hard to pass information on that way.  You can add notes, questions, successes, trails and errors etc. to this blog. I am setting it up so that the only people who can post are members of PPO.  I hope this will save you time and become a source for information.
